By accessing or using CalendarWeather ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use CalendarWeather. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If we learn that someone under 18 is using the Service, we will terminate their access and delete any associated data.
CalendarWeather is a free service that delivers weather forecast data to your calendar application via an iCalendar (.ics) subscription feed. The service includes a weekly sponsored event (advertisement) that helps keep the service free for all users.
Weather forecasts are provided by Open-Meteo and are delivered on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any weather data. CalendarWeather is intended for general informational purposes only. Do not rely on this service for safety-critical decisions. Always consult official weather services (such as the National Weather Service) for severe weather warnings and emergency situations.
The Service includes sponsored calendar events delivered once per week. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to receive these sponsored events as part of the free service. The presence of sponsored content does not imply endorsement by CalendarWeather. We are not responsible for the products, services, or claims made by advertisers.
The Service requires access to your approximate geographic location to provide localized weather forecasts. By granting location access, you consent to the collection and use of this data as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to access the Service through automated means at excessive rates, interfering with or disrupting the Service, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
The CalendarWeather name, logo, and website design are the property of Jason Barnes. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo under their open data license. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any CalendarWeather materials without prior written consent.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalendarWeather and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time by unsubscribing from the calendar feed in your calendar application. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
